Youth Involvement

Young people’s enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication are an important part of Habitat’s work.

  Despite the fact that youth under the age of 16 are not allowed to work on our build sites, there are other options for them to help support Habitat’s mission of providing safe, affordable housing for families in Lawrence, KS.

 Lawrence Habitat for Humanity values our youth volunteers and supporters. We hope to provide leadership experiences and develop a commitment to service that youth can utilize for the rest of their life’s.

We have listed some of the possibilities those under the age of 16 can pursue to give back to their community with Habitat for Humanity:

*Please note, some activities may require the assistance and supervision of an adult. You are required to contact us in advance of any activities you plan to do with youth through Habitat.
