Women Build empowers women to build homes for Habitat for Humanity.

The Women Build Luncheon provides support for a home built primarily by women for family partner Kamari Logan and her two daughters. The luncheon is a chance for strong women (and men!) to come together to enjoy each other’s company and support an amazing cause.

The luncheon’s main feature is a live auction where you can bid on materials needed to build the house! New this year, pink hard hats at each table will be filled with wares from local businesses and ready for you to take home through a silent auction.

And you don’t want to miss the inaugural presentation of a new award that will honor a woman who has served as a role model and mentor to women in Lawrence. This year’s recipient is Marilyn Dobski.

Help make the dream of homeownership come true for Kamari and her daughters.
